Shevauna is an Illustrator and Graphic Designer based in Toronto. She worked at Metroland Media Inc. where she worked on pagination for weekly and monthly magazines. She also worked on layout designs and cover page designs for magazines. Volunteer work is very important to Shevauna because she enjoys giving back to the community. She has done volunteer work for a non-profit organization called Canadian Autism Society, where she created t-shirt designs to help with company start up costs. Another company Shevauna has done volunteer work for is My Style Matters Inc., where she created vector illustrations for presentations and printed materials to help educate the public on breast cancer. Inspiration is the fuel to Shevauna's creative process. She often finds herself inspired by a lot of things, such as art, nature, fashion and mainstream media. She firmly believes that creativity feeds the soul and that everyone has creativity embedded in them. Shevauna believes that art and design should evoke strong emotions and reactions from people to initiate meaningful and powerful discussions to improve the world we live in.
